Manorside Parents' Association

Who we are

We are a group of Manorside parents who organise a range of fundraising events to raise money for Manorside school.

Money that we have raised in the past has been used to buy playground equipment, create a garden in the nursery and help fund school trips - things that benefit all the children at Manorside.

What we do

Our aim is to organise at least one fun fundraising event each term including discos, raffles, Santa's grotto, Easter egg hunts and the summer International Food Festival. Fundraising ideas for the future include creating a Manorside International Cookery Book inspired by our Food Festival and a parents-only event such as a quiz night.

How you can help

Extra hands

We are lucky at Manorside that so many teachers are willing to help at events but we also rely heavily on parents willing to lend a hand. Help can be given in many ways from selling tickets to helping to promote an event, contributing food, assisting in setting up before an event or helping out during it.

Donate your skills

We are always keen to hear about any skills you may have that could come in useful in raising money for Manorside. Whether it be a creative talent like painting, baking, hand or nail design etc which could be made into a fun stall idea at one of our events or a more practical business skill which could help in our fundraising activities, we'd love to hear all about it!
